Moose Hunters
Wilderness: A canoe nearly comes out of the frame, occupied by a guide and a hunter just preparing to shoot a moose on the far bank. A symphony of warm and cool colors. Lots of diagonal elements (clouds, canoe, water currents, the angle at which the moose is offset from the canoe) give the picture a lot of dynamism. I like to think that the hunters got snagged on the submerged branch and the moose got away. Hunting is amazingly bloodless in pbns.
This is from the Craftint 400-N Field and Stream set. There are three paintings in the set. This one is known as "Hunter's Paradise".
